i recently purchased some 2-ton epoxy, and its seems to be made of extremely toxic substances. is it safe to wear this so close to the skin? is it non toxic when hardened?

How would you make the enamel have a shiny finish?

  • kwiter wrote in reply on November 25, 7:12 pm

I've the same question as Boomonkeyluv, can the cold process attain the high sheen that the "Hot" process does? Simply
Wet Sand to high sheen then buff? Mohawk Geek in the House! ;-)

emery, emery, emery! I go through a spectrum of emeries to get a really high polish. I always polish wet and end up with a really nice finish.

Nia:wen Thank you Rachel. So no buffing with polishing compund after Emery/Crocus Cloth eh? interesting.

when I polished it destroyed the finish. I think the polishing buff got too hot for the resin.

Okay, so I'm a dorkus. I want to learn more about this enamaling technique and in the video she said to check her blog. But, I can't find any step by step instructions. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
