You said to email them in so I am :) This is my take on your little guy. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7663808
He is also done from scrap as yours was. The biggest pain was it seemed that as soon as I would attach one leg, another would fall off! It was a good challenge though for keeping the heat in the right place. I think the 8 legs took 14 tries!
Super cute! I realized after I made the spider that the better way is to solder the legs on all at once: join the four wires at the middle, and then solder them as one unit to the body. You can then stretch them out from there. It's easy to solder wires together on charcoal with pins.
loved the haloween episode, some nice stuff in the shop too. i was wondering if yall could make more jewlery for men though. personally, im a straight male who actullay enjoys sewing and would love to get into jewlery, but dont want to make all female designs. thanks for the good shows!
Well, I was wondering if there will be a episode today, not to be whiney but I was really hoping there would be a new one this monday. Just to let you know there is someone who cares in this bleak, barren, concrete desert (a.k.a. the world),
ha... ha... Weeeell look at me cracking humor, this must be a very, very, bad day
Hi Lord,
Thanks so much for your comments! We're regrouping at moment and hope to have more eps soon. We're having fun and glad to hear you like them, too!

Hey, you said to post spider jewelry and while this piece isn't a pin but rather a bracelet and was something I did quiet a while back, I thought it worth sharing.

I do miss having access to casting equipment (which I only had while at the university), so much more flexibility than with fabrication. Any thoughts on how to do lost wax casting without dropping thousands of dollars for a kiln, centrifuge, vacuum, etc. ?

Hi Beth - we've decided to take a break from producing Metal Chik and refocus our efforts. The videos will remain up but we will not be posting any new episodes this year.
Thanks so much for your interest and support thus far and if you have any more questions please feel free to email me.

Since you said you wont be posting up any new episodes, can you please put up instructions on how to make a ring band? I was really happy when you said that that was gonna be the basis of the next episode, and I'd really would like to learn how to do it. Thanks.
Say it with jewelry on Halloween! NYC's Halloween Adventure and Gothic Renaissance stores have some truly eye catching jewelry that you can wear all year round. But for now, Happy Halloween!
